Sherried Oak
Sherried Oak itself is not an ingredient, but rather a flavor profile imparted to other ingredients, most commonly spirits like whiskey or vermouth. Aging in barrels previously used to age sherry wine imbues the spirit with a rich, complex character of dried fruits, spice, and nutty notes.
