Bar Sawa is an intimate eight-seat omakase counter hidden in a basement in Little Tokyo where Edomae sushi tradition meets a Japanese cocktail bar. The evening centers on a roughly dozen-piece nigiri tasting with seasonal appetizers and dessert, with optional sake and cocktail pairings built from similar ingredients. The dark wood-and-tile room with a glowing whisky wall feels like a sophisticated Tokyo lounge, quiet and suited to a slow night out.
